Our Language Classes

Our traditional classes meet on Saturday mornings (excluding holidays) from 9:30am until noon at both of our campuses from September through May.

We also offer a selection of Special Interest classes, both online and in person, throughout the school year and the summer.

DSD I & II / AP German

Preparation for the AP (Advanced Placement) German exam and the DSD I & II (Deutsches Spachdiplom / German Language Diploma) is offered to our high school students.

Our school year is filled with traditional events for all students and their families: Laternenfest, Weihnachtsfeier, Fasching, Osterfest, Abschlussfeier. Additionally, we offer special class activities and topics like Schultüten traditions, Kaffeeklatsch and Dialect Day.

Our German language teachers ensure high quality instruction. They are selected both for their knowledge of German and for their teaching ability.

The German Language School of the North Bay is administered by anall-volunteer Board of Directors that take care of all administrative functions regarding the school.
